A review from one of our learners:

When my manager told me I was to do a training course on lone working I was sceptical. I had been working on my own for the last six months, why did I need training? I did go into it with an open mind and was really surprised at how much I learnt. It made me look at my personal safety in a whole new way and from this course I put new measures in place to keep myself safe, especially as I work in the dark when it is winter. I now have a buddy system with another colleague and have completed a new risk assessment with my manager who did the managers version of this course.
